Heather worked with me for years in the Scottrade training department, and when she told me she was taking on contract work, I got her booked quickly. Her courses were always popular at Scottrade, and I’m now booking her for repeat performances at ICL ~Iva Platt, Manager, Learning and Organizational Development
Have a book club or library event coming up? Are you a teacher looking for a way to engage students on the topic of writing? Whether you'd like to chat about my books, the writing process, or the publishing industry in general, I'm happy to help! Talks can be delivered virtually or in person. Fees vary based on attendance, book orders, and distance.
Choose a specific book to discuss or a relevant theme, depending on your needs. Since leaving your mark on the world is a theme that runs through all of my books, my graffiti tarp travels with me to events for participants to sign, doodle on, or leave words of wisdom. It's a fun way to encourage everyone to leave their mark.
My name is Robin and I have been in a book club for around 15 years. We read all different types of genres and take
turns recommending books. I had read several of Heather's books and recommended Throwaway as my book club pick. I was so excited when I realized that she worked in the town I live in. I thought it was a long shot, but I messaged her and asked her to be my guest at Book Club for Throwaway. My book club group and I were all so excited when she said yes! Having her with us during our discussion of her book was beyond amazing. To be able to ask the author questions and get her input was something we will never forget! Heather is an amazing woman and a brilliant author. If you ever get the chance to have her speak with your group, jump at it! You won't be disappointed. ~Robin, owner of Mane Salon & Social House
