There I was in the pop tart, baby formula, greeting card aisle at my little grocery store that has one tiny section of books separating the cards from the food when I found this book. I have read other books by Cindi and wasn’t currently in the process of reading a book (I know, that hardly ever happens!) so I grabbed a copy of this and added it in to the basket with my fiancé’s pop tarts!
From the start this book gives you that sweet mushy tummy flutters of feelings. Those first attraction butterflies.
Addie is just one of the guys. Football, beep, poker, and her three best guy friends are all she needs to be happy. Until one of them announces he is getting married and they are all going to be his Groomsmen. Just one catch.. Addie has to wear the same dresses as the bridesmaids! Ugh the things we sacrifice for friends.
Tucker, best friend and partner in crime to Addie. One of the fellow Groomsmen. So why is he thinking about kissing her? Why can he not stop staring at her legs?
This book is a true friends to lovers romance full of awkward encounters, small town life where everyone knows or thinks they know your business, Flash the dog, and just enough heat to keep you invested.
I give this 3.7 stars out of 5. If you are looking for a lighter, more on the sweeter side of the romance world this is the book!
Happy reading - keep things a little on the naughty side!
