I love the cadence and rhythm that Helena writes to. I enjoy that her books bring you laugh out loud moments to break up the drama that characters face before they make it to their Happily Ever Afters.
This is the second in this series about the Mills brothers, and you should read the first Shacking Up before you get to this delicious morsel of a book.
We met Amie, best friend to Ruby, in Shacking Up. Her wedding day to Armstrong ended in an annulment, embarrassment, and her going on her honeymoon with a broken heart and alone.
Lexington, Brother to Bancroft from book one, saw Amie first but his cousin Armstrong made a quick move to cut him off and ended up with the girl. Except she’s on her honeymoon alone and looking to get in some fun trouble. He didn't plan to be on the same plane as Amie as she makes her way on her solo honeymoon. Fate put them together and Lex is all too happy to follow the path.
What happens on the island stays on the island, right?
Until real life and the mess is still waiting for Amie when she returns to NYC. She still has to fight Armstrong to sign the annulment papers, and she still has to find a new job since she worked for his company. Can Amie trust her broken heart and emotions again? Is Lex just in a competition with his cousin?
You know it’s a 4 star Helena HEA! Add it to the list and catch up because we’re about to meet Griffin, the final Mills brother in the next installment!
Happy reading- keep things a little on the naughty side!
