Written by Dawn Ryder ![]() This book was a total impulse buy as I wandered the rows of books at the store on my vacation. I wanted to buy one “new to me” author. I settled on this Dawn Ryder book. Celeste is a survivor of domestic abuse and with her new martial arts training, her house locked with bars and security alarms, and her ex-husband still in jail, she’s ready to vacation in Alaska for her best friend's wedding. Of course she didn’t expect to be attracted to the best man! She thought her heart was locked down just like her house. Nartan is rich in business and has a wealth of success. However, he knows love and people are what make you a wealthy man. His attraction to Celeste is not something he saw coming. Now if only he could get her to stop running. Back home, she finds Nartan persistent that they should take a chance on their connection. However, when her ex is released from prison, they will have to fight to keep her past from destroying that connection. I give this book 3 stars. It’s a little naughty, a little suspense, and an overall good story. Happy reading- keep things a little on the naughty side! ![]() About the Author Heather G. is a sassy SEO ninja who's engaged to the man of her dreams.
